STF Operation in Guwahati Leads to Arrest of Drug Peddler
Guwahati, August 04, 2024: In a decisive operation, the Special Task Force (STF), led by Inspector Kapil Pathak, apprehended a drug peddler in Jayanagar near Card Mahal under the jurisdiction of Dispur Police Station.
Acting on reliable information, the STF team launched the operation, which resulted in the seizure of 23 vials containing heroin weighing 31 grams. Additionally, the team seized one mobile handset from the suspect.
The arrest and seizure mark a significant success in the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region. Inspector Pathak emphasized the STF’s commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety and well-being of the community.
