Murder in Nagaon’s Kachua Stemming from a Jackfruit Tree Dispute
Kachua, April 09, 2024: A tragic incident unfolded in Nagaon’s Kachua, resulting in the death of a man identified as Ainuddin. The fatal conflict between two parties reportedly began over plucking of jackfruit from a tree.
Ainuddin met his untimely demise while attempting to intervene and halt the escalating fight. He was fatally struck on the head with an iron rod during the altercation.
The accused individuals, namely Asmat Ali, Hasan Ali, Hasmat Ali, and Mansoor Ali, have been charged with murder. An FIR has been filed against them at the Kachua police station, initiating a formal investigation into the matter.
Following the incident, Kachua police have dispatched the deceased’s body to Nagaon for postmortem examination.
The local police are actively pursuing the case to ensure justice is served in this unfortunate and violent episode. Further details are awaited as the investigation progresses.
