Forest Department Conducts Raid, Seizes Large Quantity of Smuggled Timber in Goroimari
Nagarbera, March 17, 2024: In a significant operation, the Forest Department’s staff conducted a raid in Goroimari, resulting in the seizure of a substantial amount of smuggled timber. Led by Abdul Gafur, an official from the Goraimari Forest Camp, the operation targeted Vauriavitta in Goraimari based on confidential information.
The raid uncovered timbers valued at a lakh, indicating the scale of illicit activity in the area. Following the seizure, the raiding team promptly transported the timber to the Forest Camp in Goraimari for further processing and investigation.
