Golaghat Police Intercepts Drug Peddlers, Seizes Heroin
Desk Report, May 14, 2024: Golaghat Police, through their persistent efforts in naka checking and surveillance operations within the district, achieved a significant breakthrough yesterday. This initiative led to the interception of three individuals suspected of drug peddling along with the confiscation of two vehicles at Rangajan.
Upon thorough search and examination, law enforcement officials discovered a substantial quantity of contraband concealed within four soap cases in the possession of the apprehended individuals. The seized substance was identified as 43.89 grams of Heroin, a potent narcotic substance.
