Gunfire Incident Shakes Panbari Area of Dhubri District
Dhubri, March 22, 2024: A startling incident has left the Panbari area of Dhubri district in shock after gunfire on a bus injured a passenger and shattered a window. The bus was traveling from Tulsibeel in Kokrajhar district to Dhubri along National Highway 17 when the unexpected event occurred.
The incident took place between Panbari and Suparighat. An unidentified assailant fired shots, hitting a passenger and causing damage to the bus’s window. The bus, with registration number AS-19-C-8597, was caught in this unexpected crossfire.

Authorities are puzzled about the source of the gunfire. The nearby BSF campus has clarified that the shots did not come from their location, as there was no ongoing drill at the time. Surprisingly, no bullets or bullet shells were found at the scene.
The identity of the person or group responsible for the shooting remains unknown. Investigations are ongoing to determine the motive and culprits behind this alarming incident.
