In a historic feat, both the Indian men’s and women’s Kho Kho teams emerged victorious at the Kho Kho World Cup 2025, held at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi on Sunday. The Indian men’s team clinched the title with a dominant 54-36 victory over Nepal, while the women’s team secured a resounding 78-40 win in their final against Nepal.
The Indian women’s team delivered a spectacular performance from the very beginning, quickly taking control in Turn 1. Their attackers were in exceptional form, effortlessly eliminating the opposition’s players, earning 14 points. Led by captain Priyanka Ingle, India built a commanding lead of 34 points, with Ingle contributing several crucial touch points.
