Karimganj Police Seize 1.2 Lakh YABA Tablets and Suspected Heroin in Major Anti-Narcotics Operation
Desk Report, September 16, 2024: Acting on reliable intelligence, Karimganj Police launched a targeted anti-narcotics operation in the Patel Nagar area. A vehicle was intercepted during the operation, leading to the recovery of 1.2 lakh YABA tablets and 537 grams of suspected heroin. The estimated value of the seized drugs is in crores.
The vehicle originated from a neighboring state, and authorities swiftly apprehended three individuals in connection with the case. The swift and precise action of Karimganj Police has been widely praised.
