Major Drug Bust in Assam: 30,000 Yaba Tablets Seized in Kathakal

Desk Report, July 28, 2024: Based on credible intelligence, Cachar Police conducted a special operation in Kathakal today. They apprehended an individual in possession of 30,000 Yaba tablets. Additionally, a vehicle used for transportation was seized.

The illegal consignment is estimated to have a market value of ₹9 crore. This significant seizure highlights the ongoing issue of drug trafficking in the region.
