Cachar Police Seize ₹110 Crore Worth of Narcotics in Major Operation
Silchar, March 14, 2024: In a commendable operation today, Cachar Police, led by Superintendent of Police Numal Mahatta, successfully intercepted a significant drug trafficking attempt in Loknathpur, Dholai. Acting on credible intelligence, Cachar Police seized a staggering haul of over 12 kilograms of Heroin and Brown Sugar concealed within leather bags and soap cases.
The illicit substances, believed to have been transported from a neighbouring state, were intercepted by Cachar Police. One individual has been apprehended in connection with the operation, signaling progress in ongoing investigations.
