Northeast Frontier Railway Cancels Silchar-Rangiya Express for Maintenance

Guwahati: In an official announcement, the Northeast Frontier Railway has declared the cancellation of two important train services—the Silchar-Rangiya Express (Train No. 15612) and the Rangiya-Silchar Express (Train No. 15611). This temporary suspension is attributed to essential maintenance work and operational requirements.

The cancellation period will extend from November 10 to November 20, 2024, during which time these trains will remain out of service. The Silchar-Rangiya Express will cease operations starting November 10, while the Rangiya-Silchar Express will halt from November 11. Both services are expected to resume normal operations after November 20, 2024.

Passengers planning to travel on these routes are advised to make alternative arrangements. The Northeast Frontier Railway has requested passengers to stay updated through official channels for further information and any potential changes to this schedule.
