NFR Announces Revised Train Timings and Extended Services to Manage Passenger Rush
Desk Report, July 25, 2024: In a recent development, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to revise the timings of the 15655 Kamakhya-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Express and the 13483/13484 Balurghat-Bhatinda-Balurghat Express. These changes are set to take effect from late July 2024.
Revised Timings for 15655 Kamakhya-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Express
Effective from July 28, 2024, the new timings for the 15655 Kamakhya-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Express are as follows:
– Kamakhya Station: Departure at 11:00 AM
– Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra: Arrival at 2:50 PM
Updated Schedule for 13483/13484 Balurghat-Bhatinda-Balurghat Express
The timings for Train No. 13484 Balurghat-Bhatinda will be revised starting July 26, 2024:
– Balurghat: Departure at 5:00 PM
– Ganga Rampur: Arrival at 5:24 PM, Departure at 5:26 PM
– Bunaidpur: Arrival at 5:36 PM, Departure at 5:38 PM
– Eklakhi: Arrival at 6:20 PM, Departure at 6:22 PM
– Malda Town: Arrival at 7:25 PM, Departure at 7:35 PM
– Bhatinda: Arrival at 11:50 AM
For Train No. 13483 Bhatinda-Balurghat, the revised schedule from July 26, 2024, is as follows:
– Balurghat: Arrival at 12:55 PM
– Ganga Rampur: Arrival at 11:12 AM, Departure at 11:14 AM
– Bunaidpur: Arrival at 10:55 AM, Departure at 10:57 AM
– Eklakhi: Arrival at 10:20 AM, Departure at 10:22 AM
– Malda Town: Arrival at 9:50 AM, Departure at 10:00 AM
– Bhatinda: Departure at 4:25 PM
Extension of Special Trains
To accommodate the extra rush of passengers, NFR has also decided to extend the periodicity of special trains. The details are as follows:
– Train No. 02525 Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal: Extended for two trips on August 2, 2024, and August 9, 2024.
– Train No. 02526 Anand Vihar Terminal-Kamakhya: Extended for two trips on August 4, 2024, and August 11, 2024.
