Northeast Frontier Railway Announces Multiple Train Cancellations for Rangiya Division Work

Guwahati: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has issued a public notice regarding the cancellation of several train services due to critical infrastructural upgrades. The cancellations are a result of pre-non interlocking, interlocking works, and CRS inspection for the commissioning of a double line in the Rangiya division. The double-line commissioning project is expected to enhance operational efficiency and reduce congestion across the division.

These train cancellations will occur between October 21, 2024, and October 31, 2024, affecting several important passenger and express trains. Below are the details of the affected services:
