Sribhumi Police Seize Heroin, Yaba Tablets, and Codeine Syrup in Anti-Drug Operation
Sribhumi Police achieved a major success during an anti-narcotic operation in the Karimganj Police Station area. The operation, conducted along Silchar Road, led to the recovery of a significant quantity of illegal drugs.
Officials seized 367 grams of heroin, 6,000 Yaba tablets, and 10 bottles of codeine syrup during the raid. These items are commonly trafficked in the region and pose severe risks to public health.
One individual was apprehended in connection with the seized contraband. The suspect is currently under interrogation, and authorities are investigating the drug network’s links further.
