Poacher Apprehended in Orang National Park: Joint Operation Leads to Arrest

Udalguri, March 08, 2024: In a collaborative effort, the Forest Authorities of Orang National Park and Silbari police have successfully apprehended a notorious deer hunter, Mohidul Islam of Khopati. The arrest followed a thorough joint operation.

During the search of Mohidul’s residence, an antler was discovered, solidifying the evidence against him. Authorities revealed that Mohidul had been engaging in deer hunting within the park’s boundaries for an extended period.
