Police Crackdown on Smuggled Cattle: Four Cattle Seized, Two Smugglers Arrested in Moukhowa Raid
Chapar, March 23, 2024: In a significant operation led by Sub Inspector Yunus Talukdar from Chapar police station, Police cracked down on smuggled cattle in the Moukhowa area. During the raid, authorities successfully apprehended two cattle smugglers and rescued four cattle.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Nesab Uddin from Bidyapur, Bongaigaon district, and Jamat Ali from Basugaon. Upon interrogation, one of the detained smugglers revealed that Sadullah from Roudubi, Bongaigaon district, is the alleged mastermind behind the cattle smuggling syndicate.

Following the raid, the seized cattle were safely transported to the Chapar police station. Currently, the police are actively investigating the matter to uncover further details and possibly identify additional suspects.
