Prime Minister Narendra Modi Explores Kaziranga’s Wilderness in Early Morning Safari
Desk Report, March 09, 2024: In a splendid start to his day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on an early morning jeep and elephant safari at the revered Kaziranga National Park in Assam. This adventure followed his overnight stay at the World Heritage site.
As the Prime Minister arrived in Golaghat, Assam, he received a warm welcome from the locals. The enthusiastic crowd gathered to greet him, accompanied by a special cultural event that added to the festive atmosphere.
Choosing to spend the night at a guest house, Prime Minister Narendra Modi geared up for an early jungle safari on Saturday morning. During this visit, he engaged with the dedicated team of forest guards known as Van Durga, who play a pivotal role in the conservation efforts at Kaziranga.
Expressing admiration for their commitment and bravery, PM Modi shared his thoughts, “Interacted with Van Durga, the team of women forest guards who are at the forefront of conservation efforts, bravely protecting our forests and wildlife. Their dedication and courage in safeguarding our natural heritage is truly inspiring.”
The subsequent morning saw Prime Minister Narendra Modi seizing the opportunity for an adventurous jeep and elephant safari, further immersing himself in the rich biodiversity of Kaziranga National Park.
