According to police reports, the intruder and Saif Ali Khan engaged in a physical altercation during which the actor was stabbed two to three times. Saif was immediately rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, where he is currently undergoing surgery.

Mumbai Police Deputy Commissioner, Dixit Gedam, addressed the media, stating, “An unidentified person intruded into the residence of actor Saif Ali Khan. The actor and the intruder fought. The actor was injured and is being treated. An investigation is going on.”

Family members of the actor were reportedly present in the house at the time of the incident, though no one else was harmed. The police have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the accused.

In an official statement released by Saif Ali Khan’s team, they assured fans and media that updates would follow as the investigation unfolds. “There was an attempted burglary at Mr. Saif Ali Khan’s residence.
