Sarbananda Sonowal Joins Dibrugarh Election Race
Desk Report, March 26, 2024: Union Minister and senior BJP leader, Sarbananda Sonowal, has officially entered the election race. He filed his nomination papers today for the Dibrugarh Lok Sabha seat. Sonowal was in Dibrugarh and was joined by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Also with him were the Presidents of BJP, Asom Gana Parishad (AGP), and United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL).
At the same time, Lurinjyoti Gogoi from AJP also filed his nomination papers for the Dibrugarh Lok Sabha seat. Gogoi will get support from his alliance parties as he gets ready for the upcoming elections.
