Sribhumi Police Continue Crackdown on Illegal Infiltration
March 13, 2025: Sribhumi Police intensified their efforts to prevent illegal entry into India. Early yesterday morning, officers intercepted six Bangladeshi nationals attempting to cross the border unlawfully. They were promptly pushed back to Bangladesh.
The individuals were identified as Ankhi, Misty Khan, Ibrahim Shaik, Md Yeakub, Reshma Begum, and Lipi Khan. Authorities detained them briefly before ensuring their return to their country of origin.
Law enforcement remains vigilant along the border, increasing patrols to curb illegal migration. Officials have reiterated their commitment to strengthening border security and taking strict action against unauthorized entry.
