Special Task Force Led by Inspector Kapil Pathak Conducts Raid in Fancy Bazar, Guwahati
Guwahati, April 02, 2024: In a significant operation, a team from the Special Task Force, under the leadership of Inspector Kapil Pathak, conducted a raid in Fancy Bazar, Guwahati. The raid took place within the jurisdiction of Panbazar Police Station, under the Police Commissionerate of Guwahati.
During the operation, the team apprehended two women in possession of 70 vials containing approximately 94 grams of suspected heroin. The seized contraband has an estimated street value yet to be determined.
Inspector Kapil Pathak and his team acted on credible intelligence, leading to the successful apprehension and seizure. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the source of the contraband, the intended destination, and any potential links to wider drug trafficking networks.
The arrested individuals are currently in police custody, and charges are expected to be filed following the ongoing investigation.
