Major Drug Bust at Khanapara Bus Stop by Assam’s Special Task Force
Guwahati, March 24, 2024: On March 23, the Special Task Force of Assam conducted a raid at the Khanapara Bus Stop, located opposite Khanapara Veterinary College and under the jurisdiction of Dispur Police Station.
During the operation, the special task force apprehended several habitual drug peddlers. The raid resulted in the seizure of 50 vials containing a suspected 66.5 grams of Heroin. Additionally, three mobile phones, ₹4270 in cash, and an Auto Rickshaw with registration number AS 01 CC 7967 were also confiscated.

The individuals taken into custody have been identified as Amar Pradhan, 19 years old, Bishnu Doley, 27 years old, and Manik Rajbanshi, 40 years old. Special Task Force are currently conducting further investigations to determine if more individuals are involved in this drug trafficking network.
