Sribhumi Police Seize ₹7 Crore Worth Drugs; 3 Arrested in Major Crackdown
February 09, 2025: Sribhumi Police conducted a significant anti-drug operation, seizing YABA tablets worth ₹7 crore. The crackdown led to the arrest of three suspects involved in drug trafficking.
In Puwamara, Sribhumi Police seized 50,000 YABA tablets and arrested one individual. Meanwhile, in Longai, police seized 5,800 YABA tablets and detained two more suspects. These arrests mark a major success in the fight against drug smuggling in the region.
Officials stated that the seized narcotics were likely meant for illegal distribution. The police are now investigating the network behind the smuggling. Further legal action is expected as authorities intensify efforts to curb drug-related crimes.
