STF Assam Seizes 153.71 Grams of Heroin, Apprehends Three in Dispur and Satgaon Raids
Guwahati: In a significant anti-narcotics operation, the Special Task Force (STF) of Assam conducted raids at two separate locations under the jurisdiction of Dispur and Satgaon Police Stations. Acting on source information, the STF team apprehended three individuals and seized 153.71 grams of heroin during the operation.
The authorities also recovered three mobile phones, cash amounting to ₹25,780, two vehicles, and 94 empty vials used for storing narcotics. The operation marks a critical step in the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
The apprehended individuals are currently in police custody, and further investigations are underway to identify any larger networks involved in the illicit trade. The STF team has intensified its crackdown on narcotics activities, ensuring that such criminal networks are dismantled.
