STF Assam Nabs Suspect with Heroin Vials in Panjabari, Guwahati
Guwahati, August 22, 2024: Acting on credible intelligence, a team from the Special Task Force (STF) of Assam launched a targeted operation at Panjabari in Guwahati, under Satgaon Police Station. The operation resulted in the arrest of a suspect found in possession of 24 vials containing heroin.
During the raid, authorities seized 35 grams of heroin, further strengthening their case against the accused. Alongside the illegal substance, the team also seized cash and a mobile phone from the suspect.
This successful operation underscores the ongoing efforts of the STF, Assam, in combating drug trafficking within the region. The arrest is expected to lead to further investigations, contributing to the state’s broader anti-drug campaign.
