STF Assam Conducts Successful Raid, Recovers Heroin and Cash
Guwahati: In a decisive anti-drug operation, the Special Task Force (STF) of Assam apprehended a suspect in Guwahati. Acting on reliable intelligence, the team conducted a raid in Swarajpur under Basistha Police Station’s jurisdiction.
During the operation, officials recovered 46.75 grams of heroin concealed in 35 vials. Additionally, they seized a mobile handset and cash from the accused. The suspect was taken into custody for further investigation.
The STF’s efforts are part of an ongoing crackdown on illegal drug trafficking in the state. This operation underscores Assam’s commitment to eradicating the drug menace.
