Drug Peddler Arrested in Guwahati Operation; Heroin and Cash Seized
Guwahati, August 08, 2024: In a recent operation conducted by the Special Task Force (STF), a drug peddler was apprehended in front of the Administrative Building at Assam Agricultural University, Khanapara, under the jurisdiction of Dispur Police Station, Guwahati.
The operation, which took place today, resulted in the seizure of 29 vials containing heroin, weighing a total of 38.5 grams. Additionally, authorities seized a TVS NTORQ 125 scooter, a mobile handset, and a sum of cash.
This operation highlights the ongoing efforts of STF, Assam in combating drug trafficking and maintaining public safety. The seized items have been forwarded for further investigation and legal proceedings.
