Drug Peddler Apprehended in Bhaskar Nagar, Guwahati: STF Seizes Heroin, Cash, and Mobile
Guwahati, July 13, 2024: In a meticulously executed operation, a team from the Special Task Force (STF) led by Inspector Kapil Pathak successfully apprehended a drug peddler in Bhaskar Nagar, under the jurisdiction of the Geetanagar Police Station, Guwahati. The operation, based on reliable intelligence inputs, resulted in the seizure of 26 vials containing heroin, with a total weight of 38.5 grams.
In addition to the heroin, the STF team also seized a mobile handset and an undisclosed amount of cash from the accused. The operation marks a significant step in the ongoing efforts to curb the illegal drug trade in the region.
The operation underscores the continued commitment of law enforcement agencies to eradicate the menace of drug trafficking and ensure the safety and security of the community.
