Parbatjhora, February 20, 2024: In a tragic incident on National Highway 17 in Parbatjhora, a fatal road accident occurred involving an E-rickshaw and a speeding ultra bus, resulting in severe injuries to two college students and an elderly man. The collision occurred near the Kali Mandir in Bagribari, as an E-rickshaw carrying Monsher Ali and two Mahamaya Degree College students, Hajera Khatun and Momiran Khatun, collided with the rear of the ultra bus bearing registration number AS 17 B 5297. The ultra bus was en route from Dhubri to Guwahati when the accident transpired.

The impact of the collision left the victims in critical condition, prompting immediate intervention. The injured individuals were swiftly transported to the Green Medical Hall; however, due to the gravity of their condition, they were subsequently referred to Dhubri Medical College and Hospital for further medical attention. The elderly victim, Monsher Ali, hails from Kasiabari, adding a poignant dimension to the unfortunate incident. Authorities are investigating the circumstances leading to the accident as the community awaits updates on the well-being of the injured.
