Sivasagar, February 02, 2024: In a tragic turn of events, Akash Das, a resident of Jonaki Nagar near Sivasagar town, reportedly took his own life on the night of February 1st. Akash Das, affectionately known as a friend of snakes, was well-known in the community for his passion for catching snakes and serving the people of Sivasagar.
The news of Akash Das’s untimely demise has cast a shadow of deep grief across the region, leaving many in shock. His sudden and mysterious suicide has left the community reeling with questions and sorrow.
Akash Das was known for his altruistic endeavors, particularly his efforts in catching snakes to ensure the safety of residents in various parts of Sivasagar. His dedication to this unique service had earned him respect and recognition among the locals.

Following the tragic incident, Akash Das’s body was transported to Sivasagar Civil Hospital with the assistance of the police. After the completion of the post-mortem examination at the hospital, his body was handed over to his grieving family members.
