Train Cancellations Announced Due to Cyclone Dana Impact on East Coast Railway
Guwahati: In response to the potential impact of Cyclone Dana, Indian Railways has announced the cancellation of several train services. The East Coast Railway zone is likely to experience disruptions, and as a precautionary measure, these cancellations are set for October 23 and 24, 2024.
The affected train services include major routes such as Kamakhya-SMVT Bengaluru SF Express, Silchar-Secunderabad Jn SF Express, and Dibrugarh-Kanniyakumari Vivek Express. These cancellations are being implemented to ensure passenger safety and avoid complications due to the cyclone’s effect on railway operations.
