Train Cancellations and Rescheduling Due to Waterlogging at Silchar Station
Guwahati, July 05, 2024: In a significant operational setback, Northeast Frontier Railway has announced the cancellation and rescheduling of several trains due to water logging at the Pit line of Silchar station, under the Lumding Division. The following changes have been made to the train services:

– 15612-Silchar-Rangiya Passenger: Journey Commencing on 05.07.2024
– 15663-Agartala-Silchar Passenger: Journey Commencing on 05.07.2024
– 05694-Badarpur Jn.-Dullabcherra Passenger: Journey Commencing on 05.07.2024
– 05693-Dullabcherra-Badarpur Jn. Passenger: Journey Commencing on 05.07.2024
– 05682-Silchar-Maishashan Passenger: Journey Commencing on 05.07.2024
– 05683-Maishashan-Silchar Passenger: Journey Commencing on 05.07.2024
– 05687-Dullabcherra-Silchar Passenger: Journey Commencing on 06.07.2024
– 15611-Rangiya-Silchar Passenger: Journey Commencing on 06.07.2024
– 15664-Silchar-Agartala Passenger: Journey Commencing on 06.07.2024
– 15615-Guwahati-Silchar Express: Journey Commencing on 06.07.2024

Rescheduled Train:
– 12508-Silchar-Thiruvananthapuram Central Express: Originally scheduled to depart on 04.07.2024, this train has been rescheduled to depart on 05.07.2024 at 05:50 hrs instead of 19:50 hrs.
Passengers are advised to check the latest updates from Northeast Frontier Railway, IRCTC, NTES and make necessary arrangements in light of these changes. The railway authorities regret the inconvenience caused and are taking measures to address the water logging issue at Silchar station.
